We’d like to formally introduce you to our story category, Breaking Bread<\/em>. This is where (seemingly) unlikely friendships take off, where people from all walks of life come together to enjoy some company. In a time when so much energy is being put into polarizing and stoking divides, we believe highlighting stories of folks finding brightness in each other is of utmost importance.<\/p>\n It’s easy to ‘find your tribe’ and stay close. We get it \u2013 being vulnerable with those who may not think or act like you can be intimidating, and preaching to the choir does guarantee a certain amount of safety and encouragement. But we’re here to say that some of the best experiences grow from unexpected circumstances.<\/p>\n In Breaking Bread<\/em> we celebrate those who break out of the mold and let themselves be vulnerable. We tell stories about folks who eschew stereotypes and taken-for-granted ideas of others, who consider themselves more holistically in relation to our big, brilliant, and diverse communities.
