We honor the first-responders, law enforcement and everyone on the scene of the tragedy who helped out \u2013 your empathy and courage are an inspiration.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands affected by the shooting and the Las Vegas community will now come together and start a long and painful road towards recovery. We wish them healing. We can&#8217;t imagine the grief.<\/p>\n<p>New Sincerity is an inclusive community that believes in empathy and taking action. We don&#8217;t wait around for someone else to take that first step \u2013 we leap. Here are some things you can do today to rise up and care for strangers.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>\u2022 Donate your blood.<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If you&#8217;re in Las Vegas \u2013 wonderful! If you&#8217;re not, donate locally to help a stranger neighbor. How wild is it you can literally give your own life force to help someone else?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">If you would like to donate blood for the injured victims of the Strip shooting visit the Labor Health &amp; Welfare Clinic, 7135 W. Sahara.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 LVMPD (@LVMPD) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/LVMPD\/status\/914808305175773184?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 2, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong><em>\u2022 Give to the National Compassion Fund<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This organization gives direct financial support to victims of mass crime. One-hundred percent of all proceeds will go directly to the Las Vegas victims and their families.&nbsp;&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/nationalcompassionfund.org\/\">Go here<\/a> to pitch your dollar and to show that, no matter what, we have their back.<\/em><\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>\u2022 Follow and donate to Everytown<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n<p>This devastation is part of a larger issue of gun violence. Did you know it&#8217;s easier to buy a gun than get a food handler&#8217;s license? There are more gun stores in the US than there are Starbucks in the world. Hmmmm&#8230; something isn&#8217;t right.
